Print Design

At Digital Skink we are in the vanguard of this technology shift and we look forward to seeing what it is our clients ask us to do with this unique opportunity.

While it may seem as though the whole world has gone paperless there are still a tremendous number of projects that are designed to be printed on paper. From books and brochures to letterheads and business cards, it's still extremely useful to communicate information in the most traditional way—through ink on paper.

Thankfully with the invention of new technologies such as digital presses and 'Print on Demand' printing has become much cheaper; because you no longer need to print in huge quantities to make it economically viable; and more exciting as with shorter runs it's possible to freshen your image much more frequently.

Fortunately technology has also taken a bite out of the speculation involved in printing on paper. By the use of low cost proofing through a CMYK RIP it's now possible to see what your project will look like long before ink approaches paper. This new accuracy affords much greater freedom for artists and designers alike to stretch their creative muscles and come up with some truly innovative design.

It's a brave new world and in the design world we haven't even begun to scratch the surface of what is possible with these new tools. At Digital Skink we are in the vanguard of this technology shift and we look forward to seeing what it is our clients ask us to do with this unique opportunity.
